Ayurveda

Ayurveda It is the Science of life and longevity. Millenary medicine of more than 5000 years of prevention and cure. The art of daily life with the laws of nature.

According to Ayurveda, the disease starts long before it manifests itself. Health is a perfect state of balance between the 3 fundamental energies, or doshas (vata, pitta, kapha). Ayurveda is based on the samkhya, philosophical system on the five elements that form the entire material manifestation of the universe.

They are ether, air, fire, water and earth. All the matter that exists in the universe comes from these 5 elements, including the human body. According to Ayurveda, when any of the 5 elements is out of balance in the individual’s body, the disease process begins.

According to this tradition, human beings are influenced by the 5 elements through dosha. The doshas are Vata, governed by air and ether, Pitta, governed by fire and water, and Kapha, governed by land and water. Everyone has the three doshas, but in different proportions.

At the time of our conception, our constitution is defined, that is, the doshas that are present in greater quantity in our organism. When we are born, this proportion is in balance (prakrti), but with time and unruly life there is an imbalance in one or more of these doshas (vikrti), contributing to the appearance of diseases.
